POSTPONED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER on 12/14! See below for more info and check back for updates!
We have just received word from the North Pole that Santa is coming to Bloomingdale on December 22 & 21, 2019! To keep the reindeer in tip top shape for the big night, Santa has asked the Bloomingdale Fire Department to give him a ride on the fire truck to visit all the boys and girls!
As always keep an eye out for the bright flashing lights and loud sirens to let you know Santa is in your neighborhood! Santa and his Elves will have a gift for all kids outside waiting for us!
We will do our best to drive past as many homes as we can. We have put together a guide to our route in case you miss Santa driving by your home! If you live on a dead end street, we may not be able to stop on your street, please consider bringing your family out to the end of the street. Santa may not be able to depart the fire truck for photos. We will do our best to update Santa's Location on our social media!
Also due to safety concerns for Santa, our firefighters and most importantly your children, we cannot make stops on Union Ave, Main St, Hamburg Tpk, Glenwild Ave, and Macopin Rd.
Residents of Glenwild Lake, and Kampfe Lake, we have set up a stop within each community for Santa’s visit. Due to tight roads and time factors, we cannot drive through the lakes.
Please, DO NOT call the Bloomingdale Police regarding Santa’s Visit. Requests to revisit an area cannot be accommodated. Please consider visiting us along the way! Any questions can be directed to Santa@BloomingdaleFD.org
