Here comes Santa Claus 2017!

The BFD is happy to announce that our community tradition continues with Santa making his rounds on the fire truck on December 15th and 16th (weather permitting).

On the 15th, we will be visiting the following streets between 5:30 pm and 9 pm: Union Ave, Main St, Van Dam Ave, Hamilton St, Orchard St, Ballston St, Wallace Ave, Park Ave, Chestnut St, White Haven Pl, Birch St, Maple Ave, Poplar St, Tice St, Walnut St, Leary Ave, Ryerson Ave, Hennion Pl, Oak St, Reeve Ave, Andrews Pl, Rafkind Rd, Forrest Dr, Knolls Rd Mathews Terr, Natalie Ct, Woodlot Rd, Heather Ln, and Hilltop Terr.

On the 16th we will be visiting the following streets and areas between 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm: Morse Lakes, Glenwild Ave, Pleasant View Ave, Valley View Ave, High St, Pearl St, Grove St, Captolene Ave, Crane Ave, Fichter St, Sally St, Woodward Ave, Lakeside Ave, Oakwood Ter, Ann St, Charles St, James St, Roy Ave, Bogue Dr, Sandra Ln, Linden Ln, Hillside Dr, Hillcrest Dr, Cook Ct, Walter Dr, Winifred Ct, Clark St, Sunrise Ave, Natalie Ct, Red Twig Tr, Star Lake Rd, Old Ridge Rd, Vreeland Ave, Cedar St, Highland Ave, Ella St, Sophia St, Mary St, Warren St, Catherine St, Elizabeth St, Bailey Ave, Macopin Rd, and Hamburg Tpk.

Keep the following in mind during Santa's visit:

  • Listen for the sirens of the fire trucks, as this is how we are anticipating letting you know we are in your neighborhood.
  • For safety reasons the fire trucks may not be able to stop on streets such as Main St, Hamburg Tpk, Union Ave, Glenwild Ave, and Macopin Rd. Please come out to side streets for everyone's safety.
  • Please DO NOT call the Bloomingdale Police Department to request Santa.
  • We do our best to see every child possible, please understand that we may have our own family commitments during the holidays and may be unable come back if you missed us.
