The Bloomingdale Fire Department would like to thank the community for their support of our holiday events. The Bloomingdale volunteer fire department does all it can to make every child happy on the two nights we spend hours driving around town spreading Christmas cheer. There are time when we may miss a child or two or a street or two, for this we apologize. Unfortunately last night we had a mechanical malfunction with our antique fire truck and we could not bring the truck to a stop because of a clutch issue. Thanks to the many family's that welcomed us out in the street with positive praises to our volunteers.
