The BFD responded to a report of fire through the roof of a structure. Upon arrival E-661 found a chimney fire extinguished by the homeowner.
At 18:18 on April 18, 2008 the Bloomingdale Fire Department was dispatched for a brush fire on Hamburg Turnpike. Engine 662 and Squad 663 arrived on scene extinguished the brush fire. An all clear was given at 18:40.
At 15:56:00 on April 18, 2008 the Bloomingdale Fire Department was dispatched to stand-by for mutual aid to West Milford. Engine 662 provided mutual aid and returned without incident.
At 14:27:00 on April 16, 2008 the Bloomingdale Fire Department was dispatched for a gas leak at 9 Orchard Street. Squad 663 and Rescue 665 responded to scene and removed the hazard.
At 16:40 on April 13, 2008 the Bloomingdale Fire Department was dispatched for freon leak at 8 Roy Ave. Engines 662, Squad 663, and Ladder 664 responded to scene and investigated the incident to ensure no hazards were present.
At 13:27:00 on March 30, 2008 the Bloomingdale Fire Department was dispatched for a brush fire at 9 High Street. Engines 661 and 662, Squad 663, and Ladder 664 responded to scene and extinguised the brush fire.
At 01:59:00 on March 29, 2008 the Bloomingdale Fire Department was dispatched for an activated Carbon Monoxide Detector at 60 West Shore Road in Lake Iosco. Engine 662, Squad 663, and Ladder 664 responded to the scene. An investigation was completed and it was found that the detector had become faulty.
At 16:0:00 on March 28, 2008 the Bloomingdale Fire Department was dispatched for a malfunctioning boiler with the possibility of fire. Engines 661 and 662, Squad 663, and Ladder 664 responded to scene. The boiler was removed from the site and an investigation was conducted to ensure the home was all-clear.
At 11:28:00 on March 28, 2008 the Bloomingdale Fire Department was dispatched for Hazardous Material cleanup at the site of an accident at the intersection of Birch Street and Union Avenue. Engine 661 and Squad 663 responded to the scene and cleaned up the hazardous materials.
At 21:30:00 on March 26, 2008 the Bloomingdale Fire Department was dispatched for an activated fire alarm at the Martha B Day school. Engine 662, Squad 663, and Ladder 664 responded to the scene and investigated the building. An all-clear was given after the investigation was completed.
At 13:20:00 on March 10, 2008 the Bloomingdale Fire Department was dispatched for a brush fire at 36 Lakeside Ave. Squad 663 responded to the scene and extinguished the brush fire.
At 17:26:00 on March 6, 2008 the Bloomingdale Fire Department was dispatchedfor an activated Carbon Monoxide Detector at 59 Reeves Ave. Engine 661, Squad 663, and Ladder 664 responded to the scene. The crews initially investigated the house and notified PSE&G of the incident for further investigation.
At 08:10:00 on March 3, 2008 the Bloomingdale Fire Department was dispatched for a smell of gas at the Martha B Day School at 225 Rafkind Road. Engine 662, Squad 663, as well as Ladder 664 responded to the scene. After an initial investigation by the fire department PSE&G was notified of and an all-clear was given.
