The mission of the Bloomingdale Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is to prepare for and protect residents from disasters.
Mandated by the Federal government through Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and by the State of New Jersey Office of Emergency Management, the Bloomingdale OEM exists to protect the lives and property of the citizens of Bloomingdale in the face of natural or man-made disasters.
OEM is responsible for directing all disaster responses within the Borough of Bloomingdale.
